A new release from my publisher: Sanity Interrupted by K. Jones

A Collection of Sensual Poetry and Prose

This book takes a hypothetical look inside one suburban wife’s secret life but could easily be an expose featured on today’s talk shows. Infidelity is a scourge that is plaguing marriages at an alarming rate and it isn’t only men that cheat. Hitting midlife no longer means that a woman’s sexuality is any less potent, if anything this decade has been dedicated to the realization that these mature woman are in the prime of their lives. Hollywood started the trend and the ‘cougar’ was born; now it has infiltrated the sleepy neighborhoods of small town America.

Sanity Interrupted is full of contradictions and unanswered questions. Turning forty becomes an epiphany for the story’s heroine and her transformation is fueled by a mysterious young man who she believes is a muse. Suddenly she wants to experience everything life has to offer before it’s too late; fantasy and reality become fused into one. This housewife experiences a life shattering reawakening. She is forced to choose between the picture perfect life she has and the unlimited possibilities of an existence that she has only dreamed of. Ultimately, this character learns that she might have to lose herself completely before she can find her true self once again. With her distinct use of words and brutal honesty, K. Jones paints a vivid picture of just how dangerous obsessions and desires can become.

this book contains adult themes and explicit language and is not intended for individuals under age 18
